Finding Balance

"Do not be anxious about anyting, but ineverything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hears and your minds in Christ Jesus."

     Finding a balance between work, school, family, relationships and my spiritual life can be very overwhelming at times. It is in those dark moments that I turn to James and become reassured that God is in control and I have nothing to worry about. God will grant me the peace and strength I need to perservere.
     My mornings, on the way to school or work, start off in prayer and worship while I jam to Air1. It is the quiet time I need to thank God, reflect and pray for the day ahead. If I know that I have to work, I plan my homework schedule accordingly and make sure I have ample time to finish it. I use a daily planner to remind myself of all the things that I have to do so nothing gets left out. My time riword. I try to have as much fun as possible still, whether it be going to Disneyland or Angels games. I prioritize my time and make sure that my work gets done, even if it means doing it on the ride to wherever I may be going.

No matter what life throws at me, I know that I can handle it because I have Jesus to calm my nerves and spirit. Ultimately, I learned that taking things one day at a time helps to relieve all the pressures that life has because tomorrow isn't promised, so why worry about it?ght before bed is designated for reading my Bible so that I can get a good nights rest after talking with my Creator and studying His
